The National Association of Nigerian Past Students Union Presidents, Nasarawa State chapter, has said it would support the gubernatorial campaign of ex-Minister of Information, Mr Labaran Maku with N1.5 million. The President of the association in the state, Mr Newman Solomon, disclosed this on Friday when he led other executive members of the association on a visit to Maku at Wakama in Akun Development Area of the state. He said “we are here to facilitate and celebrate with you and your family on the occasion of the new year and to assure you of our continued support to enable you to realise your ambition. “We are past students’ union leaders. We will support you with N1.5 million to enable you to tackle some financial challenges in the course of your campaign.’’ In his remarks, Maku thanked the association for the donation and promised to implement people-oriented projects if elected.
